Intentional Fork

An intentional fork occurs when a blockchain network intentionally splits into two separate chains, each following different protocols or rules. Unlike accidental forks that may occur due to network issues or consensus failures, intentional forks are planned and executed by the network participants to introduce significant changes or improvements to the blockchain's underlying technology or governance.
